Rollins Ford Park Pump Track

The Foundation has raised the necessary funds to construct the Rollins Ford Pump Track. A pump track is an asphalt circuit of hills and banked turns. These tracks are popular for children learning to ride on pedal-less balance bikes, but also cater to youth and adult riders using standard bikes. As riders improve their skills, the tracks are designed to provide the option for more challenges with increased speed and skill, without needing to change the construction. Bicycle pump tracks ensure biking is a sport that can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age or ability. The Foundation envisions that this “first-ever” public pump track in PWC will become a hive of community activity.

Site prep is the responsibility of Prince William County Parks & Recreation, which includes site grading, a concrete base and borders, drainage, and fencing—so we’re seeking community support to help fund this critical first step toward building a fully accessible playground where all children can play and thrive together.
