Chris Martino

Chris Martino was born and raised in Queens Village, New York City and White Plains, NY before heading off to Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.  Chris began his career as an internal auditor with Texaco Inc., as a CPA with Ernst & Whinney and in financial management for the cities of White Plains and Rye in NY.
In 1996 Chris was recruited to become Director of Finance for Prince William County and served in that position until being promoted to Deputy County Executive in 2010.  Chris then served as County Executive from 2016 until his retirement in December 2021.
Since his retirement Chris has served as Interim Town Manager for the towns of Warrenton and Herndon while each conducted their search for a new town manager.
Chris and his wife Kim have lived in their home in Haymarket since moving to PWC twenty-nine years ago.  They have three grown sons, Gregg, Beau and Brooks, and were very active in the youth sports leagues over the years; Grizzlies Football, Gainesville District Little League, and Virginia Basic Wrestling.
Chris earned his B.A. in accounting from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA and his MBA in finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
